BEA Words of Wisdom

"There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

About NEKHET COMBAT SCIENCE CENTER (NCSC)

NCSC, a cutting-edge training, research and consulting center founded in 1997 by personal defense expert Heru-Ur Nekhet, specializes in effective, efficient, easily learned and easily taught self-defense training to meet modern threats. NCSC specializes in state-of-the-art self-defense training for high-risk security, civilian and corporate personnel who do not want to spend years studying outdated and ineffective forms of popular martial arts.

About the Executive Director

Heru-Ur Nekhet is one of the most dynamic self-defense instructors in America. Nekhet brings a realism to his classes that others cannot. This is due to his wealth of first-hand experience.

Nekhet's training started at a very young age. As soon as he could walk, his father, who was proficient in Aikido, Judo and Karate, began teaching him only the practical applications to these arts. As a youth, Nekhet became a formidable fighter whose skills were tested frequently on the streets of Brooklyn, New York. Nekhet developed a fearsome reputation in the streets after facing multiple opponents, guns and knives — yet always coming out unscathed.

In June 1986, Nekhet became one of only 200 selected for the New York City's elite Police Cadet Corps. While on the force, he received training in New York's famed Police Academy as well as on-the-job training in the 88th Precinct in Fort Greene, Brooklyn — one of the toughest precincts in New York City. For nearly three years, he observed petty thieves, muggers, rapists and murderers. He also noted the behaviors of the victims and closely analyzed each situation. He gained a wealth of knowledge on the mind-set of both criminals and victims.
African Jola Wrestlers

In 1991, two years after resigning from the Police Department, Nekhet began training under Mfundishi (Grand Master) Hassan Kamau Salim in Kupigana Ngumi African martial arts. Amazingly, in only two and a half years, Nekhet was allowed to take the grueling Mfundi (Master Craftsman) test.

In 120ยบ heat in Africa, he endured a three-hour test of strength, courage and will. He then had to fight four times, bare-knuckled in full contact. Nekhet emerged triumphant after defeating his opponents in four consecutive fights. After returning to America, he had to fight five consecutive opponents in front of the American Grand Masters. After once again proving his skills, he was officially recognized by the Kupigana Ngumi Pan African Federation as an Mfundi.

Nekhet has supplemented his traditional training by studying with modern combatants such as military special operatives and others who offer real world experience. Nekhet has also amassed an enormous library of books and videos on traditional as well as modern fighting systems, criminology, combat science, physiology and anatomy. Nekhet has researched and studied both the art and science of physical combat as they relate to the modern environment and technology. He has broken new ground in the study of the psychology of the fighter's mind-set and completed extensive research on the manipulation of joints and pressure points.
TUF System Retreat

Nekhet has put his research and experience together to create a highly effective, simply applied system of self-defense based upon instinctive movements. The system is easy to learn regardless of your age, gender or fitness level. In recognition for his innovations in the martial arts, Nehket was elevated to the level of Malenga (mental, physical and spiritual master) by the Kupigana Ngumi Pan African Federation in August of 2000.

A year later, Nekhet began doing elite training for Fugitive Recovery Agents in the official guidelines/regulations in regard to fugitive recovery and discovered an exciting world far more interesting than the police department leading to the specialized Bail Enforcement Agent training you'll be receiving in your Course .
